The Weizhen Tang Corporation (WTC) was established in 2007 in Toronto, an evolution from the former Weizhen Tang Investment & Information Consultation Company (founded in 1997). The corporation, a professional financial and fund investment company, was incorporated in full accordance with the requirements of the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) and is subject to its supervision and regulation; it was also registered within the framework of the Ontario Securities Act (OSA). Most of the corporation's clients are senior and affluent overseas Chinese in Canada, the United States, P.R. China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Malaysia. At present, the WTC is trying to shift the focus of its client base from retail clients to large institutional investors. With its unique advantages in personnel, capital and world-leading investment management expertise, the WTC has established its business presence in North America, China and other markets around the world. Its Overseas Chinese Partnership Fund Limited has achieved gigantic leaps in development during the past three years. The WTC is mainly engaged in the management of PE funds and hedge funds.
